Ashgar Cruising is one of our remaining SA bred pure-bred Connemara stallions. He has a strong, athletic conformation and a superb quiet temperament exhibiting all the qualities that make the rare Connemara Pony breed (originally from Ireland) excel in all disciplines throughout the world. He is ridden and has won or been placed in every show class he has entered, including the Ashgar Connemara Annual Show at the Stud in Clarens, Welsh Pony Society and the Horse of the Year in Johannesburg. He stands at MILLSLEIGH IRISH SPORT AND PONY STUD in the Eastern Free State, South Africa. Cruising has been professionally trained and proven for Artificial Insemination and frozen and chilled semen are now available by prior arrangement. 2011 was his first breeding season and he has successfully sired a generation of beautiful part-bred progeny. Cruising excels in Eventing and Show Jumping.
